How to Find Spaces Here

Begin with one of these two search options, found on the homepage:

Choose filters one at a time (left side) — allows you to select from many, many specific search criteria.

• Choose one filter at a time; your results will update immediately after you click on a filter.
• A list (or “history”) of all the filters you have applied appears in a box at the top of the column.

Jumpstart your search (right side) — allows you to apply basic, frequently-selected criteria begin your search.

• Choose the permitted use(s) you need, enter the rental rate you’d like to pay, and/or click the interactive map of NYC.  Click “Apply Selections” and you’ve begun a search for space.
• You can continue to narrow your search results by choosing more criteria from Additional Filters on the left-hand side.

Keyword Search

The Keyword Search applies to all fields in a space’s record.

 Use it to find a space by

• name — “Abrons”, “Joyce”
• zip code — “11105”
• any other special feature — “black box”, “garden”

The Keyword Search works with other selected filters, too.  For example, search first for the keyword “church”, then narrow your results by choosing a particular borough.

Search Results

The "Search Results" page will list the spaces that match the criteria you entered.

Click on a space’s name for a full record of Space Details, including contact information, available personnel and equipment, closest transportation, audience seating configuration (if applicable), and more specifics on renting.  If the facility has a website, we have provided the link to it.

For any space that interests you:

• Contact the facility manager by phone, fax or email to ask about availability and/or to schedule a site visit (our website does not book the space for you!)
• Ask specific questions that apply to your space needs.  See our helpful Tips on Renting Space
• Leave your contact information regardless: some spaces book far in advance but may have cancellations
